Childrens Health Council

The Children’s Health Council (CHC) has served the developmental needs of children and families for over 60 years. Their new facility is a two-story, 52,00-square-foot building that houses the organization’s administrative, clinical and educational functions under one roof. The facility is surrounded by a school yard comprised of native vegetation, large lawn areas, an improved play yard adjacent to the school wing on the north, and a landscaped parking area for 125 clients, teachers, staff and trainees on the west and south. It is situated on the south bank of San Francisco Creek, near Stanford Medical Center, Stanford University and Stanford Shopping Center. This project received the Palo Alto Architectural Review Board Design Award in May 1998 and in 2014 we returned for a complete interior remodel of both the first and second floors.  chc_trellis
